Herobeat Studios is looking for a Game Designer to join the development team of Endling, a 3D side-scrolling survival video game for PC and consoles with an important message behind it. We are unflinching in our motivation for the game, with one of the main features/goals of Endling to “raise awareness of animal and environmental exploitation.” The biggest danger you’ll face in the game is the callous destruction inflicted by the human race, a view we share regarding the real world.

As a Game Designer, you will design new game mechanics, systems, levels and maps, evaluating and improving existing ones.

Requisitos mínimos

-Proven experience as a game designer.

-Strong documentation and communication skills.

-Well-organized and detail-oriented.

-Ability to listen, accept critique and uses feedback to improve work.

-Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude.

-Deep understanding of the current indie landscape, puzzle/adventure games and survival gameplay mechanics.

-Experience working with UE4.

-Strong verbal and written skills, fluent Spanish and English.

-Knowledge of industry production pipelines.

-Previous experience as game designer and level designer.

Responsabilidades

-Pitching new game concepts, adjusting design choices responding to internal feedback.

-Creating and keeping design documents updated.

-Balancing content developed by the team; extending and detailing those systems when needed.

-Prototyping and monitoring the execution of the design implementation, communicating design status of the project to the rest of the team.
