The Team
Our Marketing department plays a pivotal role working alongside multiple teams across the business including Distribution, Content Strategy, Production and Development. Our Marketing team is responsible for creating our brands look & feel, creative direction and maximising distribution partner platforms including YouTube, external facing marketing communications, and assisting with events and presentations. As our distribution partnerships grow, Marketing will play a more active role in supporting our clients and ensuring all the correct brand and creative assets are shared in a timely manner, building strong relationships with respective client marketing teams. Marketing is responsible for helping enhance performance on YouTube and other distribution partnerships to ensure our IPs are presented in the most creative way and stand out from our competitors.
The Role
The Lead Graphic Designer will be responsible for defining our property’s visual identity and standout on key distribution platforms from YouTube to Amazon and beyond. This role will also contribute to marketing materials in support of the distribution / commercial team for sales pitches etc.
In collaboration with marketing, the Lead Graphic Designer would be in charge of making sure our content is presented in the best way possible, creating visuals to support all platforms’ requests. From banners to localised logos, the main goal is to control everything related to brand identities, making sure they are optimised and the best possible assets to work with. This means there is an expectation that this role will be the conduit with Production to enable simple and direct interaction for the ongoing creative needs of the company.
The role will also be responsible of the thumbnails of our IPs, to ensure they are of an industry-leading standard, have exceptional stand-out against competing properties’ assets and ensure our IPs are visually maximised to drive viewership with our core pre-school demographic. In time, the role will manage another designer who will look after thumbnail.
Customer obsession must be at the heart of the marketing and distribution teams, ensuring our clients and viewers' needs are catered to, and optimising visibility on partner platforms.

MISSION:
Create outstanding visual identities for our properties to achieve maximum standout on platforms (logos, graphics, thumbnails, banners, patterns etc.), in collaboration with Marketing Creation and consolidation of Sales and Branding materials (IP and co-production bibles, pitch decks, style guide, etc.) Creation and/or provision of all materials (print and digital) for the effective promotion of our properties: Broadcast / VOD partners (banners, leaderboards etc.) Digital communication touchpoints (websites, social media posts etc.) Events (banners, flyers, booth decoration etc.)
Photoshop editing and paint-over of our properties’ 3D graphic assets to: Create new seasonal / themed promotional assets Enhance compositing (beauty touch-up) Recycling / reuse of assets for other purposes
Creation of licensing mock-ups to feature our brands’ merchandising potential Creation and update of corporate presentation decks Effective planning to ensure departmental needs are met; set-up processes to optimize coordination with the different teams
PROFILE:
Mastery of Adobe’s suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Knowledge of Google suite tools (Google Slides especially) Additional skills (but not mandatory): Video editing and / or motion graphics 3D editing software experience WordPress Passion for Animation Industry Strong verbal and written English skills Strong project management and organizational skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Willingness to go above and beyond the role and to suggest initiatives and ideas that will push the company forward creatively |
