Starloop Studios is looking for an Art Director to join his team to participate in top-videogames development, mainly VR oriented.

The Art Director is responsible for the Art team and also to ensure a consistent vision and level quality for the entire game

Requisitos mínimos

• 6 years of previous experience as an Art Director. Proven success leading team results through strong leadership
• Ability to motivate teams and promote initiatives
• Expertise and understanding of the entire development process
• Considerable experience of creating game art at senior level or above
• Experience in designing artistic elements and implementing them in VR games
• Solid communication(Spanish and English) and problem solving abilities. Confident creating workflows and processes to guide and organise art teams. Ability to effectively direct and delegate to leads.
• Portfolio of games completed that demonstrates a high level of expertise, preferable those worked in as an Art Director

Responsabilidades

Responsibilities:
• The Art Director is responsible for the game art content, ensuring that all visual elements match the game’s vision in terms of quality.
• Define and drive the artistic vision for the game
• Is an active mentor and role model for the art team. Creates development goals for the artists to increase the overall quality of the art team. Works to maintain morale and create an atmosphere of creativity and enthusiasm.
• Coordinates with the producers to achieve artistic solutions to balance creative aspects with production realities
• Collaborates with Technical artists and Art leads to develop an efficient and productive art pipeline & establish metrics which ensure artistic goals are met within technical performance targets.
• Keep in touch with other Project managers to provide expertise and advice if needed.
• Collaborates with engineering, design, and production to establish strong performance metrics so that product content hits aesthetic and technical targets simultaneously
• Works with Art Manager and production to support outsourcing partners with clear guideline documentation and effective feedback to realize goals.
• Is responsible for mentoring and growing the internal art team
• Is actively involved with recruitment, participating in the hiring process
