Scopely is seeking a full time Senior Video Editor to lead a team of talented editors in the development of compelling and effective video advertising, game trailers, and social content. You will use your industry experience, creativity and talent to direct and produce a wide variety of promotional media for the entire portfolio of Scopely’s games; including The Walking Dead, WWE Champions, Wheel of Fortune, and more. You will be responsible for the creation of a broad spectrum of high quality media, and will
be involved in every step of production from concept to completion to delivery. You must be technical enough to work with pre-beta QA builds and inventive enough to deliver given the limitations of each individual game. The Sr. Video Editor will provide leadership for a team of editors, and collaborate with our internal Designers and Marketing Managers. This role reports to our Marketing Creative
Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Collaborate with Creative Director and Marketing Manager on assuring a unique look and
high quality bar for our creative and advertising.
? Conceptualize and develop high quality video advertising and game trailers that will excite
our players.
? Work with marketing lead to create/direct, compose and capture shots from the game that,
when edited, present a compelling narrative 
? Work with others in the studio to coordinate and direct game capture
? Edit videos and add effects
? Devise storyboards or animatics, based on needs of each video 
? Provide feedback and art direction to video team to ensure all creative meets marketing
objectives 

Requisitos mínimos

REQUIREMENTS:
? 5+ years of video editing experience, 3+ years in the video game industry 
? Mastery of video editing software, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects
? Experience in PhotoShop
? Understanding of cinematography and editing principles 
? Strong sense of composition and color 
? Demonstrated ability to cohesively tell a story through edited sequences 
? A strong work ethic and can do attitude 
? A passion for video games and entertainment
? Audio recording and mixing experience 
PLUSES:
? Illustration/storyboarding skills 
? Motion graphics experience 
? Strong typography skills 
? 3D modeling or animation experience 
? Experience with Livestream software 
? Experience with lighting for videography 
? Degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
