What a Support SW Engineer does at EA:
As Support SW Engineer, your primary focus will be to work within an agile development team, closely with the Product Owner and the Software Engineers to deliver and maintain the EA Localization applications portfolio. You will address the issues identified by users to avoid any impact on their daily use of the Loc toolset.
You will also spend time understanding the organization’s technology, not only from a localization point of view but also from game studios or other EA business areas and make the best use of it to deliver the toolset and infrastructure used to localize the game. To deliver software and present its functionality to users and partners and to create user and technical documentation and train the users will be also among the responsibilities.
On top of the above responsibilities, the Support SE Engineer will also provide support to the dev ops and QA team with developments for software and infrastructure automation.
Since we realize it takes world-class people to make world-class games, we offer competitive compensation packages and a culture that thrives off of creativity and passion. You will also get a benefit package that includes medical and life insurance, pension plan, meal vouchers, stocks programs, fitness reimbursement, flex benefit program…and of course, free video games.
At EA, we live the “work hard/play hard” credo every day.
