A GameHouse Original Story...
At GameHouse, we’re leaders in story-driven mobile games for women, and we’ve put together a new team to take our storytelling in a completely new direction. Internally, we refer to this as one of our “Moon Rocket” projects, taking the company to the next level.
Based in Madrid, we’re looking for a Lead Developer who will play a critical role in building the next generation platform and tools to tell GameHouse’s amazing stories.
As a Lead Developer on our development team, you will bring your knowledge and experience to bear on helping us solve technical challenges, come up with creative solutions to art and design ideas, and help continually improve our development, testing and deployment process. Joining a small studio team in the early stages of a new project, you will have the opportunity to have direct and meaningful impact on the game we produce and ship to our players around the world.
CV should be submitted in English.
5+ years of game development experience
At least 2 years working with Unity in C#
Experience leading an autonomous team of developers
Strong knowledge of algorithms and performance analysis
Experience building / operating live mobile games
Good at working with non-technical team members to build the right tools for the job
Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
Pure bonus points for:
C++ game development experience
Familiarity with Python
Knowledge of Unity plugin authoring
Experience building in-editor tools in Unity

Provide leadership, support and direction to the project programming team
Define, prioritize and execute the technical plan to develop our next moon rocket project.
Be deeply involved in the design and development of our next story-driven multi-platform game
Play a significant role in day-to-day coding, tool building, optimization and bug stomping
Work closely with a small team of game developers, designers and artists
Participate in prototyping with design and art to provide technical perspective and expertise
