Amuse Network is hiring a Python developer.



Job Description:



The candidate will be a Python Developer (Middle or Senior) under the management of the lead TD Pipeline.

His main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the pipeline codebase.



The required qualities are:

- Work with different execution environment and api : various DCC applications (Maya, Nuke) or some more standard python libraries

- be able to switch between different projects and languages (python, javascript) but mainly python

- Speak english / (french / italian / spanish)

- Not to be scared or lost when taking a lot of existing code: be able to understand it

- Functional and object-oriented programing

- Pep8 is your friend



The main project will be the creation a web application connected to Shotgrid (a database commonly used in the domain)

for Amuse Network's freelancers to:

- Connect as authorized users

- Select the project, entity, task they want to work on

- Upload their work files to submit to this task

- Those files will be automatically published on Shotgrid and validated by the project manager

- The result of the approval will be sent to the freelancer



Next will be to found a solution to integrate the invoicing system with Shotgrid.



The role will be to:

- Support the users in case of problems

- Communicate with the rest of the team to define the best way to solve the problems or implement new features and mainly to the Lead TD Pipeline

Some codes from the candidate should be asked to define his level.
