We are looking for a producer to join our growing team in Madrid, Spain.

As a producer you will be responsible for managing a diverse creative team through several simultaneous projects based on high visibility media IPs for all current consoles. You’ll need to work with task coordinators and leads to ensure a sensible development schedule and scope, and coordinate day-to-day to ensure tasks are delivered on time. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for the on-time delivery of each sprint feature set, and will engage in problem solving and workflow management, identifying and helping eliminate bottlenecks. Finally, along with the Creative Director, you’ll be the point of contact with the Publisher to manage milestones, deliverables and special requests.

At aheartfulofgames we value independence and flexibility on a mostly horizontal organizational structure. We trust our developers to manage their tasks and try to find a balance between an efficient schedule and enough flexibility to ensure a good working environment. As such, a Producer will be expected to treat everybody with respect and encourage open and earnest communication over the development processes, while still being able to identify inefficiencies and become the tool through which they are minimized. We are not looking for somebody to bring the most out of the team if that means hurting the team, even short-term.

Requisitos mínimos

-Experience in a production role in at least one published game.
-Knowledge of project management tools (Trello, Jira, HackNPlan…).
-Excellent communication skills.
-Fluent English and Spanish.

-Break down a project into the relevant, interdependent tasks.
-Time each task along with the task coordinators and schedule the project both short and long term, with sensible buffer times and QA allotment.
-Work with management to scope projects to expected budgets.
-Coordinate with the different stakeholders so that tasks are delivered on time and at the expected quality.
-Anticipate problems further down the line and propose adjustments and solutions.
-Manage emergencies and team members’ specific circumstances and follow a personalized management style.
