We are looking for a full-time Sound Designer to join our growing team in Madrid, Spain.
As a Sound Designer you will be responsible for sourcing and creating the soundscape for several projects based on high visibility media IPs for all current consoles. You’ll work along the Design team, and under the supervision of the Creative Director, to make sure the sound design both helps communicate gameplay and immerses the player in the worlds we work on. You will also work alongside Code to integrate your sounds in the engine, using dynamic sound design that is scalable and easy to iterate on. You will also help the Music Composer integrate a dynamic score that works in harmony with the design.

As such, we expect you to be task-oriented and adaptable to the specific needs of each project.
-Sound design experience creating evocative and powerful soundscapes for any medium
-Good technical skills. Ability to learn complex tools and adapt to the team’s processes.
-A passion for games and understanding of the gameplay-first approach to sound design.
-Knowledge of dynamic sound engines (WWise, Fmod or similar…)
-Excellent communication skills.
-Fluent English and Spanish.
-Previous experiences in games.
-Experience with Fmod.
-Experience with Unity.
-Work with Design to figure out the scope of the sound design on an entity-by-entity basis.
-Break down sound design requirements into systemic approaches that minimize the number of individual sounds.
-Work with dynamic sound engines to modify sounds in runtime to add variety.
-Create evocative ambient soundscapes.
-Establish the “perfect” in-engine sound mix.
-Make sure every player action is rewarded with a satisfying sound clue.
-Hybrid position. We will start with one mandatory on-site day per week (with the rest being optional remote days) and adapt the position to the needs of the Sound Designer and the project.
-Very flexible working hours.
