We are looking for a QA tester to develop follow and execute automated and manual tests to ensure video game quality and performance expectations. This is a temporary role that will help conduct tests on our games to ensure video game runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Our ideal candidate is a great team player, with great communication skills willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines.

We are based in Madrid and have the option of working at the studio and/or remotely.

Minimum requirements

Previous experience in QA testing.
Couple video game titles released on various platforms.
High level of English.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good understanding of Agile processes, JIRA, and JIRA filters.
Ability to prioritize bugs.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Compliance knowledge of different platforms.
Good technical knowledge of different platforms: Switch, PS, Xbox, PC.

Desired requirements

Experience and knowledge of development kits for different distribution platforms and their requirements and test cases.
Experience working on games developed in Unreal Engine.
Knowledge of different platforms.

Duties

Perform validation and exploratory development test coverage using different testing techniques on assigned projects.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Maintain strong knowledge of project design and scheduling changes to support QA test effectiveness, focus, and reporting.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
