3D Game Animator
We are looking for a 3D Game Animator to join our growing team in Madrid, Spain. This is an opportunity for an animator with experience in 3D games to work with a middle sized team to craft impactful experiences.
At aheartfulofgames we value independence and flexibility on a mostly horizontal organizational structure. The new animator will work on a fast-paced, combat-heavy 3D hack & slash/platformer game, with an emphasis on character personality and heavy animation and movement stylization. We are looking for a permanent hire that can further expand and strengthen our art team and grow with us and our projects.
As an animator you will work alongside the creative art and design team, coming up with solutions for gameplay movement and combat needs. As the project advances, you will also work on cutscene and dialog animations that focus more on character interaction and expression.
Because of our size, structure and ethics, we are looking for a very hands-on animator, one who can research tools and processes as needed, and is willing to express creativity with the craft, and is not afraid of trying new approaches. Most importantly we want somebody who can work with the creative director and the whole team to make sure the characters express personality and gameplay as strongly as possible.
