Now, we’re searching for talented individuals to join us as we take on fresh challenges and continue shaping the future of indie gaming.
We’re currently looking for a Senior Combat Animator to join our team — either on-site in Valencia (Spain) or in a freelance/remote collaboration format.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality, expressive and gameplay-driven combat animations that feel satisfying, responsive, and impactful. We’re looking for someone with experience and flair for stylized motion, who understands how animation supports player feedback and fun.

4+ years of experience as an animator in the video game industry, ideally in gameplay-focused roles.
Strong portfolio or reel showcasing combat animation in shipped or real-time game projects.
High proficiency with 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
Deep understanding of animation principles: timing, weight, posing, anticipation — especially as they apply to combat feel and player clarity.
Experience implementing animations in game engines, particularly Unreal Engine (Animation Blueprints, Notifies, Montages, etc.).
Ability to collaborate smoothly with designers and developers to iterate and improve gameplay feel.
Strong communication skills, comfortable working in a Spanish and/or English-speaking team.
Requisitos deseados
Experience with stylized combat animation: melee attacks, hit reactions, dodges, death animations, etc.
Familiarity with root motion, blend spaces, and animation layering in UE.
Knowledge of state machines and animation-driven gameplay systems.
Ability to iterate quickly and respond to feedback with flexibility.
Experience working with motion capture data for combat sequences (cleanup, integration).
Understanding of VFX/animation sync and how animations interact with visual and sound feedback.
Comfortable adapting to remote workflows and asynchronous communication (if freelance).
